About the PHPGuard scanner

Did you see PHPGuard-Scanner/1.0 in your logs? Then the owner or administrator of your site (or someone claiming to be) requested a check.

The scanner makes at most about twenty ordinary GET requests: your homepage, a handful of well-known file names (such as /.env or /phpinfo.php) and robots.txt. No forms, no login attempts, no attack code.

Each site is scanned at most 6 times per hour. Don't want to be scanned? Block the user agent or email us.
